Wow, I'm sorry I didn't see this post before. I sure hope your Dad is okay and I know how scary situations like that can be. How cool of a person you are donating your car like that for a friend. Hi Bush. No, we never made it to the park, unfortunately. The vehicle wasn't in any condition to be left unattended. The back end was completely smashed in and the back window was totally gone - smashed to smithereens. If it was stolen or broken into it'd be considered an "open vehicle" and insurance wouldn't cover it.

But there is good news regarding this week's events. My dad came home from the hospital today and is feeling much better. A little week, but overall he says he feels fine and is ecstatic to be home. :)

Mother of the Spawn: Thanks for the great comment. Dad should be home today hopefully. It's a day later than expected, but things are looking well. He had real food last night for dinner and should have a real breakfast today.

He hadn't had anything other than liquids for a week and it was funny when I talked to him yesterday. He said, "I had a bun with my meal and oh my gosh, you wouldn't believe how good it tasted. It was so delicious. It was like the best food I'd ever tasted." :P

I'll pass your message on to him today when I talk to him. Tell Betsy I say hello! :)

The spawn is exhausted and currently going to bed. I am exhausted and hurting more then ever since the spawn jumped on my lower back. Ahhhh well....

The stuff about Mr. Juan-o is hysterical.

Tell John that he helped me learn about a new medical condition. (Always exciting for me) Ask him if he wants me to research its history and find out what horrible things they use to do to people (it might make him feel better, ha ha). I really hope he got to go home today. For John: Feel better! Get well! Come visit soon and hope it's not so freakin' cold! (That last one was for Mary too!)

Oh, I am thinking of something..., "Will it Blend? A pink mylar Minnie balloon?" I can't wait to find out!

I hope your father gets better soon and returns home.There is nothing quite as stressful as having a parent who is ill.I also want to say I hope your dear friend stays on top of things, and somehow comes through all her struggles.I'm sure having you as her buddy is helping a lot.
Yep, you've had a bad week, I get them too sometimes! Wow, even a car accident, and having to pay out 500 dollars..thats the pits.But at least you and the little girl are alive and well.I hope you take her to the park another time..ha, kids never forget ! If I tell my girl we are going to do something, and we dont, she never lets me forget about it...nags constantly. Thats kids for ya! As for the kid crying out loud "I want in park, NOW !", you can allways say that park is just about to be moved and is lot of dirt and dust there both old and new place ... worked once for me saying to a kid, of course not mine, I woulnd``t lie mine mwuahahahahahaha.
