Weird Spam Email Of The Week

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Like most people, I get a ton of spam email every day. Most of it's for porn, and the rest of it is generally from people who I swear must be spying on me through my bedroom window - they're the ones constantly trying to get me to buy male enhancements and such. :P

But every now and again I get a spam email that's either really funny or really odd. This one definitely falls into the "really odd" category. Just read it and you'll see what I mean. This is how it was written:

Dear Aaron,
how are you doing. i hope fine.
Aaron, i am Charles from west Africa .i will like to come into
relationship with you.please where are you from?try get back to
me.......regards

Weird. Very weird. And in the words of Forest Gump...That's all I have to say about that.

That looks like a classic example of "Personalized" spam.. Taking spam to a whole new level

  2. Yep! And he obviously got my email address right from this blog as it's the only place I use the address it was sent to. So now my only question is what kind of relationship is he looking for! :P

    Thanks for visiting, my friend.

    Aaron

lOlz.. This spam is indeed funny.. I've received such kind of spam a couple of time before.. Don't know where do they get emails from.. I haven't posted that email anywhere publicly..

  4. Who knows. In some cases email addresses are actually sold by company employees believe it or not. And sometimes employees themselves harvest them to use for spam.

Mine I know almost for certain he got right from the blog. Either way, it cracked me up when I read it. What a weirdo.

hehe, Aaron, if you want, you can contribute to my 'project' - Spam, scam, cheat - you`ll find on top right list (Is part of a larger project for "internet life guard")

Notice that, in time, the average subject of spam-emails will change.

  9. LOL, if only that was the case.

Now I'm just curious to see if he's gonna write back after seeing the spam email posted. My bets are on no.

Got the strangest spam ever today... I just had to come post it in the comments here:

    Hello..

I am a nurse and my late grandma was a bulldog breeder, she died about 3 months ago and left behind 2 female english bulldogs one of which recently had a litter of 8 puppies, they are so adorable, my job as a nurse cannot allow me to take of these puppies.

I want to find them loving homes, if you interested in having them, please contact me immediately.

    Have a nice day.

    Angelina.

DO I WANT A PUPPY? WHAT?!?!?

    0_0!!!!!!!!!

And I am such a sucker for puppies! This spam is eventually going to get me in trouble because now I want a puppy!!!

  11. Danielle - Ha ha, now that is a weird one for sure!

BTW, do you want any kittens? My late grandmother's uncle's cousin's former roommate has a bunch of cats that recently had several litters of kittens...and they are so cute!

My job as an astronaut doesn't allow me to take care of them so I need to find them a good home. There are only about 60 or so total, so let me know if you want them! :P

You know a friend of mine and I were just talking about making a big coat that has little pockets and you could put a kitty in each one (I saw it in a cartoon with puppies) but we realized that a coat filled with kitties would likely be pretty scratchy and painful both for the person wearing it and for the kitties. I will see if I can find 60 friends who want kittens though if you can drop it off before you launch your spaceship for lunar orbit. :)

  13. Next mission is in early September, so you have plenty time to find 60 friends who each want a kitten. Or, 30 friends who each want 2 kittens. Or, just 15 friends who each want only 4 sweet and precious, snuggly-wuggly little kittens!

Of course, if you can find but one friend who won't mind wearing a very scratchy kitty coat, then our problems are solved. :P
