I Want One of These Sooo Bad!

Perhaps one of the neatest things I've ever seen...

A True Bird's-Eye View - Video In The Sky

Video notes: This amazing video was shot from the cockpit of a conventional RC (radio controlled) airplane. On the airplane is a wireless pan-and-tilt camera that transmits the video to the "pilot" on the ground. The video itself is viewed through a pair of VRGs or VR glasses (also known as Virtual Reality goggles), which have a built-in gyroscope that senses every movement of the goggles.

Just move your head and the camera will pan and tilt to perfectly correspond with your movements. The result is something quite amazing and beautiful. It's almost as if you're really up there flying!

Unfortunately, this isn't a product you can buy in stores (yet). It's a total do-it-yourselfer. And I give two thumbs up to the guy to started doing it!

Music in the video: Enigma - Lord Of The Dance
