Indexed Quickly By Google - I Mean Really Quickly!

Wow, it looks like I'm getting indexed pretty quickly by Google now. I had just put up my post about SunRocket shutting down and was looking on Google for additional resources on the subject, when I came across my own blog post on it as a search result. Heh, it kinda made me chuckle. :P

But it's good to know that it no longer takes days for me to be indexed by the almighty Google. Though sometimes I get the feeling I'm being stalked. *raises eyebrow*

Yeah, it's cool little feeling huh? Have you checked under sitemaps to see if you can increase your crawl frequency yet? I doubt that I can yet, but it's cool to think that we should be able to sometime. (#):)

Hey thanks for swinging by my blog and giving me some encouragement.

I've been surprised by the speed Google has even been getting mys site, it's quite exciting!!

Sadly though I have not seen any evidence that I have been randomly found through Google yet.

  3. Bush - Yeah man, it is. And no, I haven't checked yet, but it's on my list of to-do's. :)

Forest - You're quite welcome! Like I said, you have a great start. Just keep it up! :)

Great going pal! Sometimes you get the post right away indexed if that falls exactly on google's crawling cycle.

  5. Hi Benedict, good to see you buddy! Yes, that is definitely true. But this is the second time it's happened recently, so I figured I'd post about it. :)

It could also be due to certain posts of mine hitting bigger sites that get indexed instantly. Believe it or not, Answers.com and Dictionary.com have both linked directly to my posts before...and I like that! :)

But whatever the case, it's definitely fun to write about!

  7. Well, I just confirmed it! I only posted the "Web Crash 2007" post a short while ago and it's already indexed in Google...and on top of that, it's on the very first page of results.

    Now I'm really happy! :)

Google Fast Crawl is awesome! It's so fast that it feels like having your own personal googlebot. :)

  9. Hey Danielle,

What is Google Fast Crawl? I haven't heard of it before and I can't find anything about it on Google...aside from the RPG computer game FastCrawl, that is.

  10. SPAM COMMENT DELETED!

Sorry Reva, I've deleted your comment. This blog does NOT accept spam comments.

I searched Google and found your comment on many other blogs and forums...word-for-word. Because of this I now know that your full name (or at least your online spammer name) is Reva Cruz.

It appears that you've been posting in A LOT of places about Lingo phone service recently, which leads me to conclude that you obviously work for Lingo.

So, because of your spamming tactics, I'm commenting here to warn everyone who reads this to AVOID LINGO!

Btw Reva, a Google search for "Reva Cruz" and Lingo yielded several pages of results regarding your Lingo spam. So I'll say this...spammers suck and Lingo sucks!

Lingo = spam. Do NOT sign up for Lingo.
