  3. Aaron,
Thanks for the plug "caveman can do it". Your new header looks pretty cool! This contest is a good idea. Think about the traffic that will generate for Tay's blog just from people posting about it. Someone has their thinking cap on!

  5. Do I need to leave my cave? So far with any money making techniques, I have only tried publisher type stuff.

This might sound like a dumb question but I am just now learning about advertising. Lets say I enter this contest and win. What will I advertise on the site? I do not use adsense.

For the rest of my life, adsense will never be part of what I do. They cancelled me and will not explain why. Because of that, I try my best to avoid supporting Google in any way.

I have read a lot about advertising but most sites I've seen explain in a way that people who are already experts can understand. Perhaps you could write a step by step post about "how to advertise".

I need to learn this area, it is what hangs over me and I must completely understand it! Thanks Aaron:)

Hi Bobby, you would advertise whatever site you want to. And most likely, that would be your Revellian site.

And yes, a "step-by-step" on how to advertise is definitely in order. And I'd be more than happy to write one!

I'll get started on it right away. :)

  7. Thanks Aaron. I know that it would be my site that I would advertise, I don't have an ad put together yet and I'm not so sure that I'm ready for that.

I know of sites that spend 500 or more dollars a month that make nothing from advertising. To me, making real money would have to be at least $2500.00 per month. That would be real money. If I can ever get to that point I'll be happy.

As of yet, I have never spent a single dollar on line for anything. Today was a slow Sunday for the entire web for some reason. This was my worst day for traffic on a Sunday in a while!

  8. You're welcome Bobby. And yeah, I don't do any paid advertising for my blog either, so I know what you mean.

Btw, that really sucks that AdSense canceled you. I didn't know that. Well, it's their loss. You're doing fine without it! :)
