Super Link Sunday - Batch #2

Super Link Sunday - Batch #2

Listen to the audio commentary!

Welcome to the second batch of Super Link Sunday!

Here's a collection of the noteworthy posts I came across this week. With all the awesome bloggers and blog posts out there these days, it's getting increasingly difficult to keeps such link love lists to a minimum, but I'll do my best.

Here are the posts I enjoyed this week:

Link Love For Link Love

You know, when you always take the time to reward others, you should be rewarded too, right? I think so. Nirvana's song Smells Like Teen Spirit goes, "Load up on guns...Bring your friends." I say, "Load up on love and blog with friends!"

So here's some link love for Mike's link love post. :)

Leave A Comment - Get Some Love!

That's right. Leave a comment here and get some link love. As a new part of Super Link Sunday, I'll be giving link love to all those who leave me a comment. Here are this week's recipients:

Bobby, Danielle, Rhonda - no link, Valentin, Bush, Tom, Jesse, Mikael, My mom - no link, Tish

Good Blogs I Came Across This Week

Additional note: If you haven't checked out Yuwie yet, then please do. I joined it about three days ago and already have people down to my 3rd level. But more important than that, it's brought some new folks here to this blog and has allowed me to meet some really cool people. :)

  1. Aaron: I again am humbled by your generosity. I cannot thank you enough.

I have to wait until my friends get through watching Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, ha ha ha, to listen to your new feature!!!!! Gee, what an excuse LOL!

I am tired, altogether, I left over 200 comments on other blogs today. If I have secret technique, that is it! You have a great day and shine on!

    YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Honourable president of SLS batch 2, honorable public,

Today I have this great opportunity to thank you for your love(link).

I`m deeply impressed to receive this nomination and I think is because of my constant fight for dogs rights to bite whatever and whoever they want, 24/7.

Special thanks to Aaron who understood the importance of dogs right for free biting and thank to all human`s ancestors for those great invetions like the wheel, hot water and cold beers.

Thank you world, I promise I`ll abuse the use.

    ps : mwuahahahahaha
ps2 : Mate, thanks, let me know when you come here (reff to your yuwie comment .. :-P)
ps3 : 77/aa-873#b3 know you and brownbaron talked about him. :-)

  11. Hi Valentin. Ha ha, that was a great comment. And I'll definitely let you know if I ever make it over there. What would a trip to Romania be without seeing my good friend Valentin...and his friend 77/aa-873#b3! :P

  12. Hopefully, one day you`ll show up here and hopefully that will be before I show up there.

We`ll drink some industrial quantities of beers, and we`ll share (beers) responsabilities 50-50 : you pay, I drink .. as I said, is fifty-fifty :-))))

    you have been featured here

  13. That sounds like an excellent plan Valentin! And that 50-50 deal sounds absolutely perfect to me. We'll do it on opposite day. :P

  15. I just listened to your voice broadcast! The one thing that would make it better is if it were embedded in the post itself with a play button!

I'm sure that'll be something that will be available as a standard for all blogs before too long.

I thought you did a great job with it and I enjoyed listening to it a lot!

  16. @Mariuca: You're very welcome darling! You have a wonderful day too! :)

@Bobby: Thanks Bobby! I'm glad you liked it. And yes, that is precisely my plan in the near future - to integrate the recordings fully into the site itself. In fact, that's exactly what I mentioned to Danielle the other day when I asked her to test out the first recording. :)

I'll probably still put the recordings on Snapvine or a similar site as an audio blog regardless. I like the idea of having additional media on other sites that can lead new readers to this one. :)

  17. That's a cool idea! Did you see the post on me and my drum? It's somewhat similar to what you did but you guys have totally different personalities. You sound like a good talk-radio announcer!

  18. Thanks for the compliment Bobby! I'll have to check it out. Btw, I updated the recording...did a whole new one. It's a tad shorter and much better I think.

    Shine on,
    Aaron

  19. Yo Aaron! First and foremost the audio commentary is AWESOME. I really hope you keep it up.

Oh, and I agree with Bobby that you should get it into the post. But yeah man, fantastic job!

  20. Thanks a million Bush! And yes, integrating them into the site is precisely what I plan to do. But I also want host them off-site as well in order to drive additional traffic - to my site, as well as to those I mention in the recordings. :)

And based on all the positive feedback I've received from this, I think I'm gonna start doing podcasts in addition to blogging. Danielle suggested that I do, and I think perhaps it's time.

Thanks again for the kind and awesome comment! :)

    Shine on,
    Aaron
