Actually, this blog used to have a PR of 3, but when I moved it over to the aaroncook.com domain name back in April, its PageRank of course reverted back to 0, which is where it's been for the last several months. So it's definitely good to be back up there!
---> Btw, here's an easy way to check and monitor your PageRank, as well as numerous other things relating to your site.
Google Exerts Its Mighty Power
Google seems to have laid the smackdown on some of the big sites and blogs by dropping their PageRank for various, speculated reasons. But thankfully, a lot of the smaller blogs I read have faired much better. Their PageRanks have either remained the same or have increased.
So congratulations guys and gals! 'Tis further proof that following Google's webmaster guidelines is important.
Congrats To My Fellow Bloggers
Here's a list of some of my wonderful blogging buddies who've either seen their PageRanks increased, or at the very least, retained the same PageRank as they had before:
Bloghound: PR of 2
Brown Thoughts: PR of 3
Bush Mackel: PR of 4
Christy's Coffee Break: PR of 4
Five 4 All: PR of 3
Into The Inkpot: PR of 3
Jesse Blogs It All: PR of 4
MeAndMyDrum: PR of 4
Ordinary Folk: PR of 4
Pink Internet Marketing: PR of 3
Revellian: PR of 4
The Kat House: PR of 4
XANADU: PR of 3
Well done, folks! Keep up your awesome blogging!
Congratulations Aaron :D

This means were rich, right? I didn't get my $250,000 Google check, did you?
ReplyDeleteNow that I have a taste for power, I will delete my blogroll and go see John Chow...LOL!
PR4 means you can tell PR0 sites that you are an EXPERT, and they will believe you...he he
Congrats Aaron! Now can I look at all your Adsense CTR reports?
Hi, Aaron! Congrats on the PR4! And thanks for congratulation me! I was in the same situation as you. I had a PR of 4 when my blog was on blogspot, but I moved it to its own domain in May and reverted back to 0. So it's great to have the 4 back!!
ReplyDeleteBtw, BlogsWeLuv was created in June and now has a PR of 4 as well! :)
Have a great Sunday!
@Bobby: Yes, I did get mine, however, it was only for $25,000. I contacted AdSense support yesterday and am still waiting to hear back about what happened to the other zero and when it'll be fixed and mailed back out.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
@Tish: Looks like we're PR twins then! We both moved to new domains a couple of months back and both moved up to PR 4. Hooray!
And a big congrats for BlogsWeLuv doing so well too! You guys deserve it! :)
Shine on,
Aaron
Congrats, Aaron, nice done.
ReplyDeleteYet .. look here at my pr ..
http://five4all.com/img/2.jpg
five4all `s pr is 2, not 3.
Thanks Valentin! :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, your blog DOES have a PR of 3, not 2. I checked it on multiple data centers, including the Google Toolbar.
Just check it on SmartPageRank and you'll see. :)
Shine on,
Aaron
My blog is valued at $863.
ReplyDeleteANY TAKERS????????????
Takers? Yes. Payers? No. :P
ReplyDeleteCongrats Aaron!
ReplyDeleteI feel a bit foolish. I don't really know what a blog's page rank even means. I tried looking into it. However, I kept finding different answers. Google's official info was vague.
I'm not sure what a 3 means. I hope it's a good thing.
Thanks Erina! And don't worry about it; a lot of people don't have a clue what PageRank is. In fact, a lot of people weren't even aware of it until recently when it because such a hot topic in the blogosphere.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on your PR 3! That's pretty good for sure! :)
Shine on,
Aaron
